Remember when CyanogenMod promised to release an installer client to flash a supported device with CyanogenMod? Well, it’s come to fruition today. After rigorous testing, CyanogenMod Installer has been released, available to download for Windows Vista, 7 and 8. OS X version will be released later, while the supporting Android app has been released in the Play Store.
I’m yet to try it myself, but that’s mostly because I already have CM10.2 running on my Galaxy Nexus. But I’ll give it a try later, and let you know what the experience is like.
So, if you have an Android device and want to run CyanogenMod on it for a clutter-free experience, head over here to find out if your device is supported.
If it is indeed supported, download the Android app from here.

Before doing anything of any sort, make sure you’ve backed up all the media and other files from your device. There will be instances when your bootloader will have to be unlocked, which will erase all the data you have on your device, so better safe than sorry. Also, standard precautionary measures.
